Email translation orders

We often hire students who translate emails for our translation agency. Lots of people send us their applications, hoping we would order them something. However, not all of them are really fully aware of what true Email translation is all about. Some of these young people do this as if that was the last duty they get down to during a long day full of duties. Sometimes I get an impression that they use online translators to do so! Why aren"t these people using their brains when they do their work for us? What"s more, they don"t use the dictionaries very often and sometimes it is necessary, especially if you work on some complicated or specialist vocabulary, which is common in emails, contrary to a popular belief. This is why we have just decided to not hire students to do email translation for us any more. We will hire graduates from now on. At least these people seem to be more motivated. They have to earn some cash, that"s one thing, and they really need to gain some experience. I have noticed that they put much more effort into email translation than their younger colleagues. But on the other hand, we have to pay them more. A MA diploma is something that entitles them to higher earnings, in a way, so we can"t refuse to pay them better.
